Software Overview

The power behind DockChain

DockChain's unique ability to allow multiple EVs to access a source DC charger requires the integration of a few layers. A charger management system to control the source charger, our cloud software (to manage the daisy chain and charging priorities), and a payment provider if card payments are required (e.g. in public charging). We can provide all these options, or work with you to integrate DockChain to an existing setup.

CHARGER MANAGEMENT

A dependable partnership
Foundations you can rely on
DockChain can be integrated with different Charger Management Systems (CMS) and providers. When asked, our go-to, and recommendation for ease of deployment, is SAP.

We have partnered with SAP to underpin the Go Eve Cloud with their CMS. This gives our users enterprise-level software that can integrate with billing systems, energy management, and secure user authentication.  Our software sits over this firm foundation, allowing you to run the DockChain system.

THE GOEVE APP

Control and visibility

Site and fleet owners get visibility of what is happening on every charger and car park location. Drivers and users can see the activity on locations they have access to. Visibility of available parking bays, charging times, and completion can all be shared with users. Alerts can be set for completion, errors, and billing.

Optimizing EV charging with expertise from Imperial College London

We've partnered with mobility and data science experts at Imperial College London to develop software that models EV charging at your site. This tool helps us analyze charging options, including DockChain, and predict service levels before any investment is made in a particular charging choice.

Our simulator considers a range of variables, such as fleet and battery sizes, expected vehicle movements, parking capacity, grid connections, and the types and sizes of chargers. By leveraging these insights, we assist our customers in making informed technology choices and planning effectively for future EV growth.
