Driven to make things better

We're starting with EV charging

We're an ecletic bunch at Go Eve, but we're all driven by the desire to come to work to make things better. For the customer, for the world, and for ourselves.

Imagine a world where every parking space has EV charging

Our mission is to accelerate the move to EVs

To achieve this, we're seeking to make it possible to electrify every parking bay. We'll start by making rapid DC charging possible for all parking spaces at virtually the same cost as slow AC charging infrastructure.

We do this with DockChain.

A history of innovation

Revolutionizing EV charging with breakthrough technology

DockChain is a patented technology, originally invented by the team at University College Dublin and Imperial College London. Both Universities have a stake in Go Eve and continue to support us with research, as well as office space for our teams in Dublin & London.

A few of our milestones
A long time ago...

There was a team of engineers at the University College Dublin (UCD) who, while researching EVs, found the limitations of existing approaches to charging. DockChain was their workaround.

November 2022

Following a grant from the UK's Department for Transport, the world's first high powered, DC charging daisy chain is demonstrated at Imperial College London.

November 2023 - April 2024

First customer sites in the UK and Ireland go live. Car rental, office parks and operational van fleets go live with the initial production batch of DockChain units connected to 180 kW chargers.

Sometime around 2020

DockChain is demonstrated in AC charging at UCD. The team leave for new adventures at Imperial College London. UCD start to seek commercial partners for the innovation.

April 2023

£3m Seed Funding is secured from investors to fund the development of production ready DockChain, certification, and customer pilots.

November 2024

A new DockChain design is shown over the summer and CE certification follows. Learnings from the intial customer sites are incorporated into the product ahead of 2025 sales.

February 2021

Go Eve, a firm formed to speed the world's transition to EVs, are introduced to UCD and the team. Seeing commercial opportunity, despite the techical challenges, an exclusive license is agreed.

October 2023

Patent granted. The patent office agrees that daisy chaining from an EV is unique to DockChain. Both software and hardware form part of this, along with new ideas since.

January 2025

Attention turns to new markets with partnerships now signed in the US and Israel for the installation and service of DockChain there.
